The Vision of Stars of Life
Stars of Life was established in July 2022. It is a patient mutual support platform ran independetly by AYAs cancer patients/ survivors. It is now fully supported and operated by the Youth Cancer Hong Kong.
The platform aims to allow every AYA cancer patient, survivor, or family member to support each other and speak out. The platform mainly shares AYA cancer patient’s journey fighting with cancer, informative posts and promoting our activities. In addition to the struggles of treatment, AYAs cancer patients also face choices and difficulties in school, work, and interpersonal relationships. On the road to recovery, you must readjust your mood about returning to school or work. You may also be under tremendous psychological pressure, and you may even have the fear of cancer recurrence.
Through some informational articles such as introduction to cancer types, exercise, and stress relief suggestions, we hope to provide appropriate advice to cancer patients or those recovering from cancer. By sharing the stories of fellow companions, we hope to let them know that they are not alone in the fight against cancer.

Stars of Life Social Media Group
Launched in September 2022, Stars of Life, the Youth Cancer mutual support platform is built in the power of companionship. The platform aims to provide a space for cancer patients and survivors to support each other and amplify their voices. It allows patients/ recovered patients to share their own experiences, cancer-related information, and help fellow companions go through the journey together. We believe that with you and me side-by-side, walking together, we will never be alone.

Patient Stories
Each cancer patient briefly described their cancer-fighting journey in just a few sentences. Although the few lines of text may seem simple, they contain the indescribable story of each person’s joy, sadness, and worry. The road to fighting cancer is long, but through theese stories, we can learn that despite this road is long, we need mutual support and care for each other along the way.
We sincerely invite all teenage cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and medical and social workers to share their stories about AYA cancer. These stories will be published on our social media channels.
