Basic provisions

In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the Hong Kong Teenage Cancer Foundation Limited (the Foundation) and/or its service units adopt the following policy to ensure that the personal data of website users is kept confidential. Personal data including but not limited to name, telephone number, fax number, address, email address and donation records will be used for fundraising, organizing and planning activities to support, respond to, publicize and promote the charitable and/or health promotion work we hold. The Foundation takes all reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that personal data is protected during the collection and storage process. The Foundation will never disclose any personal data to the outside without the consent of the website user.

 

Collection and Use of Personal Data

The web server will record the general information of the visitor. The record will only show the visitor's network address and the web pages visited. No information that can identify the visitor will be collected. This information will only be used for statistical purposes to optimize the Association's website.

 

Storage and Access of Personal Data

All personal data provided by web users is restricted from access on the server. Only employees or agents who need to perform legal actions can use it.

Online Registration and Donation

When you register on this website or donate through this website, your personal information will be securely encrypted. Your credit card information will only be passed to third parties (such as card issuers) as necessary to process your donation. The Association will not disclose any credit card information to any other third party. Other information is used for record keeping, thanking donations and issuing receipts.
