Caregiver Support
When a young person is diagnosed with cancer, the impact extends beyond the individual to their family and friends. The emotional states of patients and their caregivers often become intertwined, potentially leading to stress and negative energy. Therefore, the mental health of caregivers cannot be ignored. Only by strengthening the relationship between cancer patients and their caregivers is crucial in building resilience and empower them to face challenges together.
In order to support young cancer patients and their caregivers, our Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Support Committee has two main directions:
1)Addressing caregivers’ psychological and emotional health to alleviate caregiving stress.
2)Helping caregivers adapt to the challenges and changes of family members suffering from cancer
