Policies and Strategies
Our organization is committed to promoting scientific research and research related to AYA cancer to provide better support to patients and survivors. We hope to better understand their difficulties and needs through surveys, in-depth interviews, literature reviews and data analysis.
The following are our primary research objectives:

Providing demographic insights of AYA cancer

Understanding the short- and long-term impacts of cancer treatment on AYAs

Assessing the impacts of cancer on young people’s lives (including physical and mental health, social life, relationships with family, etc.)

Identifying difficulties in education, career, and family planning

Examining the impact of cancer on family planning, intimate relatinships, and sex life

Social support, resources, and information tailored to young people living with cancer

"Long-term Compliations and Psyhcosocial Patterns of Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Patients - the Hong Kong Experience" - Survey
Our research team is a collaboration between Polytechnic University, Hong Kong University, Queen Mary Hospital and Children's Hospital. Together we launched the first ever research project that focuses on Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Patients' psychosocial patterns. We hope to help he society better understand the needs of AYA cancer patients and in turn provide targeted support and resources for them.
